A digital imagery course generated to run as an alternative to Art and Design or to work alongside Art to compliment the student's visual studies. A Level photography is widely recognised as a discrete course that can lead to a career in industry through its design based work. It can also be useful as a course to compliment the Fine Art A Level for those students wishing to further their career through Foundation or Degree level Art and Design.
- At least grades 6 in GCSE Art and Design or the highest equivalent standard of example photographic work. • Passes at grade 4 or above in English Language (not English Literature) and Mathematics • At least six GCSE passes at Grade 5 to 9 • A Grade 6 or above in the subjects the student wishes to study at Advanced level or in any prerequisite subjects
