If you enjoy maths and physics and like problem solving then you may be interested in a career in engineering. It's equivalent to one A level, studied over 2 years which means when you have finished the course you can use it to get a job, or an apprenticeship or you can use it alongside other qualifications for getting into university to study engineering related degree courses.
- 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above including English, Maths and Science or a relevant Level 2 work related qualification. - All students will also need to have attained at least a grade 4 in both English (Language or Literature) and Maths.
Through a written exam, set tasks undertaken in supervised conditions and practical and written assignments submitted throughout the course.
