In Paper 1, students are assessed on practical programming skills using Python, as well as: - Fundamentals of programming; - Fundamentals of data structures; - Fundamentals of algorithms; and, - Theory of computation. In Paper 2, students will study: - Fundamentals of Data Representation; - Fundamentals of Computer Systems; - Fundamentals of Computer Organisation and Architecture; - Consequences of uses of computing; - Fundamentals of communication and networking; - Fundamentals of Databases; - Big Data; and, - Fundamentals of Functional Programming.
