Geography is a subject which engages students in the world in which they live. It introduces them to ideas and theories on areas and landscapes which they see as part of their everyday life and inspires them to explore further. As Geography is all around us in everything we do, there could not be a more relevant subject to study. It looks at both the physical characteristics of our planet and the human features that we are indeed part of. A geographical qualification is known by employers to develop knowledge and skills which they find extremely useful for careers in many areas.
