This course will provide learners with the opportunity through applied learning to develop core principles and specialist knowledge and understanding required in the IT sector. The more able students will explore topics in greater depth and will be guided by teacher selected resources on topics the students wish to extend.
5 A* to C GCSE grades including English and Maths and preferably a B in subject studying.
Year 12: - Unit 1 and Unit 2 Mandatory units are externally assessed by OCR. - The units are graded Pass, Merit and Distinction. Year 13: - Unit 3 Mandatory exam externally assessed by OCR. - The units are graded Pass, Merit and Distinction Plus A choice of two further units which are centre-assessed and moderated by OCR.
