This is a two year course, divided into 3 components. • Socialisation, Culture and Identity • Researching and Understanding social inequality • Debates in contemporary society
- The exams for this course are all essay based, so you will need to have a grade 5 or above in English Literature or Language. You do not need to have taken Sociology at GCSE. - Students will be expected to have at least five ‘9-4 grades’ or equivalent at GCSE. A grade ‘6’ in the subject you intend to study at A level is advisable.
