The OCR A Level in English Literature qualification will build on the knowledge, understanding and skills established at GCSE, introducing learners to the discipline of advanced literary studies, and requires reading of all the major literary genres of poetry, prose, and drama. A minimum average point score of 6.00 based on a student's best eight GCSE results. A minimum grade 6 & 5 in English and Maths in any order if not included in the above. The grade for English may come from either Language or Literature.
80% Exam based and 20% Non-exam assessment.
