A broad-based course exploring practical, critical and contextual work through a range of 2D and/or 3D processes and media. Unit 1 requires the development of a coursework portfolio exemplifying work carried out during the AS course. The current theme for this unit is Coastlines. Unit 2 is a personal response to the Externally-Set Assignment.
5 GCSE's 9-4 including 9-4 in English & Maths 9-4 in Art
The third and final unit is the exam unit. The exam board will send you a variety of starting points where you must select one and develop a project linked to the theme you chose. At the end of the course there is an exhibition where all your work produced is presented to the examiner and marks are awarded according to the assessment objectives.
