Students will gain a better understanding of the Eduqas A-level Art Assessment Objectives and what types of work will earn them marks for each of the Assessment Objectives. They will develop their practical skills, a broader awareness of the work of other artists/ craftspeople/ designers and their critical and evaluative skills. Students will work with mixed media, drawing, painting and printing techniques.
- You will need to have achieved at least a Grade 4 in GCSE Fine Art, Art Textiles or Graphic Communication. If you have not studied one of these subjects at GCSE you will be required to produce a portfolio of your work in April of Year 11. - A minimum of Six GCSEs (or equiv.) at Grade 5 (or above)
t Practical work reviewed and commented on. Practical and technical skills will be assessed along with imaginative and creative developments. Control of materials and understanding of the formal elements mapped. For Artist studies the creation of A level investigation and analysis pages, with image of artwork and student annotation.
