This course takes your learning to the next level through enhancing your skills and knowledge of plastering within the construction industry. You will learn how to complete a variety of detailed plastering tasks including repair work as well as developing your ability to interpret information by working out materials required and costings for a variety of projects. As a trained Plasterer, you could work on housing sites, city developments, domestic extensions and conservatories, new work, conversions or repairs. You might want the security of site work or possibly branch out on your own, become self-employed and start your own business.
You should have successfully achieved a level 1 Plastering qualification or have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths.
During this course, you'll be assessed through an end of year exam and practical synoptic exercise.
