Course summary

This course is designed for those who want to pursue a career within plumbing and heating. You will explore everything from plumbing installations to gaining an understanding of low-carbon technology and renewable energy. During this course, you will cover the following: - Health and safety and industry practices - Plumbing processes - Electric and scientific principles - Cold water - Hot water - Central heating - Sanitation and drainage In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to gain some work experience within the construction industry.

Entry requirements

You should have successfully achieved a level 1 Plumbing qualification or have achieved a grade 4 or above in English and maths.

How you'll be assessed

During this course, you'll be assessed through an end of year exam and practical synoptic exercise.
