Course summary

You will study a new way of looking at the world and different theories that explain why society is as it is. We study families, education, beliefs, and crime and deviance in Britain today, and consider the different methods of conducting research. We learn about different political ideas and their impact on society.

The exams involve shorter questions and essays so the ability to write structured, extended answers is desirable.
