Entry requirements

You must have achieved five GCSEs at grade 4 or better. At least a grade 5 in both Biology GCSE and Physics GCSE, or grade 5-5 in Combined Science GCSE.

How you'll be assessed

Physiological factors affecting performance: 90 marks worth 30% of total A Level – written exam (2 hours). Psychological factors affecting performance: 60 marks worth 20% of total A Level – written exam (1 hour). Socio-cultural issues in physical activity and sport: 60 marks worth 20% of total A Level – written exam (1 hour). Performance in Physical Education: 60 marks worth 30% of total A Level marks – practical assessment.
