We follow the AQA Physics A level course, which combines a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of the subject with exciting, modern physics. There is plenty of scope to stretch our students and make them think. Students are taught by a member of the Physics team, in dedicated sixth form labs, and our bias, as ever, is towards a practical approach to learning. Experimental skills are developed throughout the course and students learn how to process, analyse and present results.
- 7 at GCSE or minimum 7-7 in Core & Additional Science - A minimum GCSE score of 48 points from the best eight full course GCSE passes (see points tables below). - A minimum of a grade 5 in English and Mathematics. - A minimum grade for each subject as specified in the subject specific table.
