Course summary

To develop linguistic skills and the capacity for critical thinking based on knowledge and understanding of the language, culture, history, and society in the countries and communities where Spanish is spoken. By the end of the program, students will have both the linguistic and cultural understanding required to be able to competently and compassionately communicate with speakers of Spanish. How you'll be assessed

60% of your final grade will come from your coursework on a personal investigation on a theme of your own choosing. The remaining 40% will be from an end-of-course externally set assignment that you will complete at the end of the course.
