Course summary

Psychology is a fascinating A-Level where you will learn how cognitive processes influence our behavior, early attachment, future relationships, and brain processes. The two-year linear program gives you an understanding of both the theory and application of Psychology and prepares you for several career opportunities. You will be expected to analyse scientific and mathematical data so an enjoyment of maths is a real bonus! Year 1 subject content: Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Psychopathology, Approaches (Biopsychology) and Research Methods. Year 2 subject content: Biopsychology, Research Methods, Forensic Psychology, Schizophrenia, Cognition and Development, Issues and Debates.
