Designed as a full two-year programme when studied alongside further Level 3 qualifications. This course supports further progression in creative media education, to an Apprenticeship or entry level employment. You will learn through formal teaching in the classroom including case studies, lectures, presentations, discussions, individual and group project work. You will be expected to undertake private study including research, revision and homework tasks.
Students must achieve 5 qualifications at Grade 4 or above to return to 6th Form at PCHS.
To achieve a full A-Level equivalent qualification, students must complete four units over the two years. This is made up from three mandatory units two of which are externally assessed by the exam board. The third unit is internally assessed and moderated externally. There is then one optional unit which is again internally assessed.
