Course summary

Computational thinking is at the heart of Computer Science, helping you develop the skills to solve problems, design systems and write code. There is a strong focus on programming, and some mathematical content. Experience of any dialect of Visual Basic will be a distinct advantage. This course will allow you to apply the academic principles learned in the classroom to real world systems in an exciting and engaging manner. Indeed, this course will above all else be relevant to the modern and changing world of computer science. This course will also give you a clear progression into higher education, as it was designed in close consultation with BCS and top universities.
