Course summary

Further Mathematics has the following compulsory areas of study: Proof Complex Numbers Matrices Further Algebra and Functions Further Calculus Further Vectors Polar Coordinates Hyperbolic Functions Differential Functions Trigonometry Numerical Methods Coordinate Geometry Two additional units are also studied.

Entry requirements

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or equivalent, including English Language or Mathematics are required to study vocational subjects. Requirements are higher for A Levels and subject specific requirements apply for some subjects. Entry criteria will be discussed in more detail during your Sixth Form interview.
