Course summary

You will explore some of the world’s biggest questions, such as: Why is there suffering in the world?; Are people born evil?; Can anyone be truly happy?; Do we have a duty to help those in need?; and Does science disprove religion? You will also develop analytical, evaluative and investigative skills as you discuss issues such as abortion, animal experimentation, capital punishment, nuclear weapons and religious influences on the world including mindfulness colouring in and the Dalai Lama at Glastonbury! Once again your opinion matters and you will be using your views in your answers.

Entry requirements

5 grade 4s across all GCSE subjects which must include a grade 4 in either GCSE English or Mathematics. Grade 6 GCSE RS and / or Grade 6 GCSE English
