Course summary

As well as the scientific theory of music technology, you will learn how to use the recording studio and music software to create a professional-sounding recording of a piece of rock/pop music and you will also compose/create your own piece of music, using a wide range of music technology processes. You will learn the principles of music production and how to recognize these in a professional recording. Coursework is an important part of the course and examinations are mostly practical - testing the skills you have acquired during the course.
