Religious Studies at A Level is an exciting, enriching and academically rigorous course. It will allow you to develop your understanding of the origins of religious thought, as well as to consider the challenges faced by religion in an increasingly secular society. You will perfect your skills of analysis, evaluation and argument, and will arrive at your own conclusions on a variety of religious and ethical issues.
Five or more 9-4 grades at GCSE including English and Maths. At least a grade 6 in GCSE Religious Studies. If Religious Studies was not studied at Level 2 at least a grade 5 in GCSE English and one more essay based qualification.
Three examinations in the summer series – there are no January exams or resits.
