The EPQ is a unique programme of study. It is intended to give you the opportunity to gain a qualification based on an outside interest, club or hobby that can be related to something you study, or something completely different. The extended project allows you to embark on largely self-directed projects. By taking responsibility for the choice and design of an individual project, you will become more critical, reflective and independent. You will develop and apply problem solving skills, which in turn will allow you to apply your skills to other areas of study, and transfer skills to other areas of study also.
- 5 GCSEs at grade 5 and above this must include GCSE Maths and GCSE English (Language or Literature)
This is a non-examined assessment, and is facilitated by BL6 as an enrichment qualification.
