Course summary

Entry requirements

Five 9-5 grades at GCSE or equivalent. Ideally students will have a minimum grade 5 at GCSE Design and Technology. However, students with a minimum grade 5 Art and grade 5 Mathematics GCSE would also meet the entry requirements

Written Examination: Technical Principles 2 hours and 30 minutes, 120 marks. 30% of A-level Written Examination: Designing and Making Principles: 1 hour and 30 minutes, 80 marks. 20% of A-level Substantial Design and Make Project: 100 marks, 50% of A-level
