Course summary

It is an exciting time to study economics. Many of the most important issues facing society are economic in nature. Whether you are concerned with global warming or global trade, whether you are looking at the collapse of world financial markets or of your neighbour's small business, you can't get far without a knowledge of economics. The course aims to stimulate your interest in how economies work. This course is a traditional A level. It is an exam based subject, which includes a mix of short answer and essay based questions. Students are also required to read around the subject.

Entry requirements

5 grade 5s including grade 6 in Maths and English Standard requirements - 5 x level 2 qualifications: GCSEs at level 4 or above or BTECs at a pass or above, including at least grade 4 in English and Mathematics.
