This course will suit you if you really find Mathematics an interesting subject and you enjoy solving problems, have a desire to be challenged and stretched by studying more difficult topics and have a logical mind and want to develop your reasoning abilities. Further Mathematics provides students with the opportunity to study mathematical topics outside of the A Level Mathematics syllabus. The course allows you to develop your repertoire of problem solving skills, ability to model real life situations mathematically and to construct logical, reasoned arguments. Through applying your maths skills to exercises that focus on finding mathematical solutions to real life problems.
5 GCSEs at grade 5 and above. This must include GCSE Maths and GCSE English (Language or Literature) In addition to the general entry requirements, pupils must have attained at least a Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics
