Students are taught by a team of experienced, knowledgeable and supportive teachers. Students are taught in well-equipped labs and carry out a lot of practical work. The students are entered in national subject competitions such as the Olympiad where considerable success has been achieved. Students study in depth various topics including: Biomolecules, cells, how organisms exchange substances with their environment and genetic information, variation and relationships between organisms. They also research how energy transfers in and between organisms, how organisms respond to changes in their internal and external environments and genetics, populations, evolution and ecosystems.
- 6 GCSE's Grade 6 and above - At least six grade 6s or better in the GCSE examinations plus a minimum of grade 5 in both English Language and Mathematics.
