Cambridge Technicals in IT offer a specialist pathway for the Application Developer route. Students will have the opportunity to apply their practical skills and knowledge in preparation for further study, Higher Education, apprenticeships or the workplace. Grade 5 in GCSE English Language, and a Merit in Creative iMedia or Grade 4 in GCSE Computer Science.
Level 3 Introductory Diploma Unit 1: Fundamentals of ICT Unit 2: Global Information Unit 6: Application Design Unit 13: Social Media and Digital Marketing Unit 17: Internet of Things Units 1 and 2 are assessed by examination. The other three units are internally assessed. All units are graded Pass, Merit and Distinction. The qualification is graded P, M, D, D*.
