To gain entry into the Taverham Sixth Form for A-level studies, you will need six Grade 4s or above in your GCSEs which must include GCSE English Language and Maths. In a subject that you have taken at GCSE and wish to continue, a Grade 5 is recommended in that subject. Attitude to learning and attendance at GCSE will be taken into account when looking at progression within a subject. In essay-based subjects we strongly recommend a Grade 5 in English. In science-based subjects we strongly recommend a Grade 5 in maths.
