This course is for young people who are interested in a careers in the health sector including nursing, midwifery and paramedics. You will learn about human lifespan and development, care values, how to meet individual needs and supporting those with additional needs. Through formal teaching in the classroom, taking part in individual and group project work, discussions, presentations and debates. You will be expected to undertake private study including research, revision and homework tasks.
- You achieve a grade 4 or above in mathematics and English - You achieve a minimum of 40 points from your best eight GCSEs - We understand there might be extenuating circumstances, and we will consider applications and interview students who don’t quite meet the criteria. - Currently, entry requirements for The Sandon Sixth Form are Level 4 in Maths and English. Average of 40 points from 8 GCSEs.
There are 2 written exams, 1 internally set assignment and 1 internally set task.
