Students will also benefit from gaining our real experience of working for a large business in Bristol. Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to manage personal and business accounts, to develop marketing campaigns, analyse data, think critically about issues and make informed decisions - all skills that are needed for further study and employment. - Explore the features of different businesses and analyse what makes them successful - Examine the environment in which businesses operate and business markets - Investigate the role and contribution of innovation and enterprise to business success. - Examine the role and influences on marketing - Plan and develop a marketing campaign - Understand Importance of managing personal finance - Understand the purpose of accounting - Complete various business accounting documents, including balance sheets, profit & loss, break-even and cash flow. - Carry out work experience in a large business in Bristol and reflect on the experience and its influence on their own personal and professional development.
