Paper 1: Factors Affecting Physical Activity & sport 2 hour written paper (105 marks worth 35% of A Level). Paper 2: Factors affecting optimal performance in physical activity & sport 2 hour written paper (105 marks worth 35% of A Level). 3 Non-exam assessment: practical performance in physical activity and sport. What’s assessed: Students are assessed as performers or coaches in the full-sided (competitive) version of one activity. Plus: Written or verbal analysis of performance. How it’s assessed: Internal assessment with external moderator visiting school (90 marks worth 30% of A Level).
