Course summary

A Level Accounting gives you a thorough grounding in financial accounting and bookkeeping and goes on to develop some of the ways in which accounting can provide valuable information for the management and monitoring of business performance and effective decision-making, especially when planning future operations. The course goes on to study limited companies and the structure and importance of published accounts. Cash flow and international accounting standards are included. Students are taught through a mixture of classroom based lessons and hands-on practice that will develop your accounting skills. Supported self-study tools are used to develop your competence as an independent learner.

Entry requirements

- Grade 5 or above in English Language - Grade 6 or better in GCSE Maths - Grade 4 or above in 3 other GCSEs
