Course summary

A Level French is designed to build on your knowledge and skills acquired at GCSE Level. The areas studied will stimulate your interest and will enable you to learn more about French culture. You will also develop your communication, critical thinking, and research skills. The areas studied are: - Social Issues and Trends - Political and Artistic Culture - Grammar - Works: Literacy Texts and Films - Individual Research Project

Entry requirements

- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or equivalent, including English Language or Mathematics are required to study vocational subjects. Requirements are higher for A Levels and subject specific requirements apply for some subjects. Entry criteria will be discussed in more detail during your Sixth Form interview.
