Applied Business is an exciting and varied subject that explores a wide range of topics including business environment, customers and communication, accounting concepts, and business ethics. You will look at each of these areas by examining real businesses in depth. You will learn the necessity of businesses being able to constantly adapt to changes in their internal and external environments including the actions of competitors, economic and political changes, and the impact of new technology. You will also learn the skills needed to work effectively in the business environment including arranging meetings, working with documents, prioritization, and communicating effectively with shareholders. The course is 50% coursework and 50% examinations.
6 GCSEs between 9 to 4 (A*-C) for including 2 of English, Maths or Science. 2 should be at least grade 6 (B).
