The course is based around speaking and understanding the language and culture of modern Germany. The course is designed to enable students to communicate confidently in writing and orally about current affairs, recent history from the fall of the Berlin wall, and culture, which includes watching films and reading contemporary literature.
- 6 at GCSE - A minimum GCSE score of 48 points from the best eight full course GCSE passes (see points tables below). - A minimum of a grade 5 in English and Mathematics. - A minimum grade for each subject as specified in the subject specific table.
