This is a two-year study program which is equivalent to 3 A Levels, however, a one-year option is also available which is equivalent to 1.5 A Levels. Both program years will accrue UCAS points should your chosen progression route be a UK university. You will study a range of topics, such as communication skills, equality and diversity, anatomy and physiology, and physiological disorders. As part of the course, you will undertake 100 hours of work experience, which will enhance your employability skills and further develop your communication skills, which are essential for a career in the health and social care sector. In your first year, you will study core units, choosing specific routes in your second year.
Applicants will be expected to have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 including either English or maths (or) A level 2 subject specific qualification including a level 2 or equivalent in either English or maths (or) An equivalent occupational experience including a level 2 or equivalent in either English or maths
