A-Level Mathematics offers students with a good understanding of Maths the chance to study it at a higher level. Mathematics is an excellent addition to a course of study for people looking for careers in science, accountancy, finance, operational research, engineering, medicine and education. You will complete the AS Level in the first year and the A-Level in the second to form a full A-Level. In both years you will be studying topics including but not limited to the following: - Calculus (differentiation and integration, applications). - Algebra, trigonometry, and the use of exponentials and logarithms in modeling. - Forces, vectors, and dynamics. - Statistical models, handling large data sets and probability calculations.
