Course summary

This qualification can lead to business related employment or Higher Education in a business related field such as Management, Marketing or Human Resources when studied alongside other Advanced Level courses. There are three mandatory units that must be studied in the qualification involving looking at the internal and external business environment, investigating resources that are available to a business in constrained circumstances and an introduction to how a business markets itself. Other units for the qualification are optional but include human resource management in business, business communication, business accounting, creative product promotion, managing a business event, aspects of contract and business law, project management and website design strategy. There is a unit involving developing and planning for a career in business which will be organised alongside the opportunity to gain a business related work experience placement.
