Mathematics (Further)

Course summary

This is an ideal course if you enjoy maths and want to study in greater depth than Maths A Level. It is excellent preparation for progression to a degree in Maths or in a subject with a significant mathematical content, such as Physics or Engineering. To gain A Level Further Maths, you need to study more challenging areas of maths in addition to those you study for the Maths A Level. Areas of study will include: complex numbers, matrices and differential equations, together with further work on applications of mathematics.
