Students study six topics over the two-year course: Coastal Systems and Landscapes, Natural Hazards, Water and Carbon Cycles, Changing Places, Global Systems and Governance and Changing Urban Environments. There are two exams, on Physical Geography and Human Geography, each contributing 40% of the A level grade. An individual geographical investigation is also completed.
