Studying Digital Media, you will learn the impact of converging technology on media content and analyze the ingredients that are involved in making a successful media product. Throughout the course, you will develop the skills and understanding required to uncover the signs and symbols that are encoded into films and the effects they can have on an audience. You will identify the deeper meaning that elements can have in a media product and how the camera shots and editing techniques are used to create meaning in the film. Once you learn to recognize these elements in media products you will begin to understand and appreciate them in a completely different way.
Minimum of 5 x 9 - 4 at GCSE and average grade of Grade 4 or above across all subjects.
