You need to be prepared to research real businesses to enhance your understanding and application of business concepts and processes. The content of this qualification has been developed in consultation with academics to ensure that it supports progression to higher education. Employers and professional bodies have been involved and consulted in order to confirm that the content is appropriate and consistent with current practice for learners planning to enter employment directly in the business sector. The learning program covers the following content areas: • Business environments • Finance • Marketing IS THIS COURSE FOR ME? Are you better at coursework than exams? You will learn about the business environment and what can make a business successful. You will learn about how businesses build successful marketing campaigns and how they manage their finances. Studying this course will help to prepare you for employment and you will have the opportunity to visit existing businesses.
Our course centre requirements for all courses are grade 4 or above in 5 subjects including GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics with a good attitude to learning. Course center requirements + minimum grade 4 in business. Students will be considered on an individual basis if they have not studied business before.
