You explore what is our place in the world and if we are the guardians of the planet, how might we better perform those duties responsibly. The subject covers marine biology, geography and ecology along with other earth and physical sciences. Areas of study include: • Biodiversity • Conservation and ecological relationships • Exploitation of physical resources • The problems of energy supply and pollution • Human population growth in relation to the demands placed upon the planet's resources
