Course summary

Further Mathematics is an additional qualification taken in addition to an A-level mathematics course. You can choose to study it as either an AS-level (as a 4" option) or an A-level (4" option). Further Maths has been delivered for over 10 years at St Augustine’s and has proved extremely valuable in providing a broad mathematical curriculum for those choosing to study a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subject at university or through an apprenticeship. If you aspire to follow a career in a STEM subject, you should consider taking Further Maths to at least AS-level.
