Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of people, the mind and behaviour. Studying it will give you an understanding of the scientific way behaviour is studied, using a variety of research methods and approaches. You will gain knowledge and understanding of research methods, practical research skills and mathematical skills. These skills will be developed through carrying out ethical practical research activities, involving designing and conducting research as well as analysing and interpreting data. You will learn how to analyse arguments and evidence, test hypotheses and make informed judgements as well as develop communication and problem-solving skills.
