This is a broad and accessible course that is regarded highly by universities. Year One All students will study: Othello’, ‘Atonement’ or ‘The Go Between’, Pre 1900 Poetry Year 2 New texts you will study will come from a section called: Modern Times: Literature from 1945 to the present day Core texts could include , ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ by Margaret Atwood, A play: either ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ or ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof’, Poetry: ‘Skirrid Hill’ by Owen Sheers
