An academic A Level based around the theories and research into human and animal behaviour. Units include Memory and Attachment, Psychopathologies and Research. You will study in pairs and groups, use video clips, YouTube, develop competent note taking, conduct and analyse questionnaires, present information to the group and use role-play. The course is essay based and with some mathematical content and there is a good range of texts, guides and DVDs available to students.
- Grades 5 in Maths, English and Science - Students must achieve 5 or more GCSE passes. - Two of these passes must be Grade 6 or higher. - Students who have not achieved either Grade 4 or above in English and Maths will be expected to achieve this by completing a resit in the first year of study.
