Opportunities and experiences in Health & Social Care: • Visits and talks from health care professionals and universities. • Links within the community to help you gain work experience in this field– 100 hours of work experience is a compulsory part of the course. • Charity work and supporting the local community.
If you achieve four “4” grades or above at GCSE (including a grade 4 or better in Maths or English) you will be considered for the BTEC extended diploma course.
You will sit 4 external exams in Year 12 and complete another 9 coursework assessments over the two years.
