You will spend two years becoming a strong programmer who is able to use a range of programming styles. Through this you will learn how algorithms are used to solve different types of problems. This course has an emphasis on abstract thinking, general problem- solving, algorithmic and mathematical reasoning, scientific and engineering-based thinking, and provides a good foundation for understanding these future challenges. The course includes a student- chosen project worth 20% of the overall grade.
